2019 AMMA CONFERENCE

Simone attended the 2019 AMMA conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre and presented a background to the study.  She was also able to officially launch the female pelvic health survey which had just be opened.

8 November 2019

A/Prof Rob Orr led the team that wrote this paper that was published ahead of print in November.

This article reviews the physiological, biomechanical, and health impacts of load carriage on the female soldier and includes issues impacting on the female athlete and hence female soldier. 

11- 14 February 2020

The 5th International Congress on Soldier's Physical Performance (ICSPP) will be held in Quebec, Canada.  The research team will present a poster entitled, 'Genitourinary health in female military personnel: an exploration of prevalence and impacts on occupational performance'.  The poster will provide some preliminary data gained from the pelvic health survey
